This Quick Parmesan Garlic Bread is super-easy, better than store-bought, and a great way to use up leftover bread or rolls!

Overhead shot of Parmesan Garlic bread layered on a white plate on a wooden surface.

This recipe came about because I had leftover hotdog and hamburger rolls. No one was eating them, but I didn't want them to go to waste.

I was thinking about serving garlic bread with my Ravioli Spinach Bake one evening, and realized that I had forgotten to buy the frozen garlic loaves at the grocery store, like I usually do. So I decided to try to make my own with the leftover rolls!

They turned out to be delicious and even better than the store-bought version.

I have always avoided making my own garlic bread because it seemed like it would be a pain, but this recipe only calls for ingredients that I already have hanging around the house, and it takes about 15 minutes from start to finish.

I can make this to use up rolls or bread, or if I am feeling fancy and had the wherewithal to plan ahead, I can use bakery rolls, which I have done and they turn out amazing.

The recipe says to bake these in the oven, but I have also used the toaster oven, and both worked well. So if you are using your oven for something else, the toaster oven is definitely an option!

Garlic bread is a big hit at our home. We often use real garlic - raw. Sometimes that's a bit much for the kiddos so this may be a more tame idea. Although sometimes the "green pieces" aren't appreciated either. Thanks for sharing!

Totally agree! Real garlic is always best, but sometimes I just don't have the time (or energy). This works in a pinch! And totally agree about the 'green pieces' too! Kids! LOL 🙂
