Ever have a REALLY busy evening with even less time than usual to prepare and eat dinner? It happens in my house all the time. In the past, we would sometimes resort to fast food because I just couldn’t figure out how to fit it all in. I won’t claim that we NEVER stop for fast food anymore, but I avoid it more often than not these days by keeping a few super-easy and quick recipes in my arsenal. (more…)

Welcome to the new home for this blog! DizzyBusyandHungry.com is now live! Yippee!
This is very exciting, as I now have my own domain name and site! It has been an adventure getting everything set up and converted over from the old site. I am really happy with the new design! I am a little less happy with the formatting of the past posts that I converted, but I will continue to try to work on fixing them. Variety! Many of the healthy dishes I find are made with chicken or turkey, which is fine, but every so often I like to do something a little different. My kids aren’t huge fans of fish, but they do like shrimp! And this dish is perfect for dressing up the little crustaceans and filling them out so that you don’t have to spend a fortune in the seafood department. (more…)

My kids love dessert, especially my younger son. Sometimes, it seems they think dinner is just an annoying opening act to endure until the main event takes the stage in the form of something really yummy. Chocolate is always a hit, of course, which is fine by me as an admitted chocoholic. (more…)
